
TLT advises on the sale of cloud optimisation specialists
UK national law firm TLT has advised the shareholders of Virga Group and its subsidiary, CirrusHQ on the successful completion of its sale to Sword Charteris, a global technology services and AI specialist.
CirrusHQ is a prominent UK‑based Amazon Web Services Premier Tier Services Partner, specialising in cloud management, DevOps, migration and managed services. Headquartered in Scotland, with a presence in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Dublin, CirrusHQ supports SME, public sector and commercial organisations in delivering and optimising cloud infrastructure.
The business has developed a strong strategic relationship with AWS and maintains a recognised presence within the UK public sector market through its listing on the Government Digital Marketplace. Its growth trajectory, supported by investment and leadership development, has positioned it as a leading provider in the UK cloud services market.
Following its acquisition by Sword, CirrusHQ will be able to maintain its specialism and identity while also accessing to greater scale, bolstering Sword’s multi-cloud and hybrid capabilities across all sectors.
The transaction reflects continued investor appetite for high‑quality cloud and digital infrastructure businesses, particularly those operating within the AWS ecosystem and supporting mission‑critical services across both public and private sectors.
