TLT recognised as Financial Times Climate Leader 2026

TLT has been named in the Financial Times' Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026 ranking, becoming one of only three law firms across Europe to be included this year.  

The annual ranking recognises European organisations that are making measurable progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing broader climate-related commitments.  

TLT's inclusion reflects the firm's continued focus on reducing its environmental impact and to embedding sustainability across its operations and decision-making. The recognition places TLT alongside leading businesses from across Europe that are demonstrating credible progress in addressing climate challenges.  

The recognition reinforces TLT's commitment to taking practical, measurable action on sustainability and supporting organisations as they navigate the opportunities and challenges arising from the transition to a low-carbon economy. The firm continues to invest in initiatives that strengthen its environmental performance whilst helping clients respond to evolving sustainability priorities, including:  

• Progressing its offsetting scheme, via its recently renewed partnership with Belmont Estate;

• Improving the environmental performance of TLT's workplace portfolio, through the refurbishment of its London office and the relocation to new office spaces in Edinburgh and Birmingham;
  

• Encouraging colleagues to make more purposeful travel decisions and increasing use of the approved booking platform;

• Strengthening its approach to supply chain emissions through enhanced supplier engagement, improved data and ongoing methodological development.  

As one of only three law firms featured in this year's ranking, the recognition provides independent validation of the progress TLT has made in advancing its sustainability ambitions and reducing emissions across the business. Earlier this year, TLT also retained its ‘B’ score for good environmental management, from CDP for the third consecutive year, and also received a 'Silver' rating from the leading global platform for assessing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG performance, EcoVadis, placing the firm within the top 15% of participants.
