TLT welcomes new Senior Partner

National law firm TLT has ushered in the new year with a new Senior Partner, Head of Financial Services sector, Andrew Lyon.

During his three-year term, which commenced on 1 January 2026, Andrew will work together with Manging Partner, John Wood, and the leadership team to deliver on the firm’s ambitious strategy.

Andrew has consistently demonstrated strategic leadership and vision through the many positions he has held and continues to hold at TLT.

His collaborations and conversations with clients as Head of the Financial Services Sector will inform his role as Senior Partner, and the firm’s strategy to be a top tier adviser, creating opportunities for clients for what comes next.  

TLT is proud to be valued for its values, and having spent 12 years as London Location Head, 10 years as a member of the firm’s Executive Board, and 18 years as a TLT Partner, Andrew is firmly embedded in firm culture. He is an advocate for wellbeing and mentoring and committed to maintaining a culture where colleagues can be their authentic selves and feel valued and empowered to succeed.

Andrew succeeds Sasha Butterworth, who served as Senior Partner since 2022. Sasha continues her role at TLT as a Partner and Head of the Pensions Team.
