Two top TLT Partners retain ‘Green Ambassador’ status

Maria Connolly, Head of Future Energy and Real Estate and Alexandra Holsgrove Jones, Knowledge Partner and ESG lead, have once again been named as 'Green Ambassadors' by The Legal 500.

Maria and Alexandra have been identified as Green Ambassadors as part of research conducted by The Legal 500. Maria and Alexandra are a part of a cohort of just 40 individuals in the UK legal market singled out as playing a key role in supporting sustainability-related initiatives.

Maria is Head of TLT's cross-practice Future Energy and Real Estate sectors. She also serves as Executive Board sponsor for the firm's sustainability strategy and is a member of its Impact Committee. Recognised as a Green Ambassador for a third consecutive year, Maria is renowned for her longstanding leadership in the UK clean energy sector and her work supporting clients through the energy transition.

Alexandra is a Knowledge Partner in TLT's Real Estate Group and leads on integrating ESG principles into the firm's legal services. Her repeat recognition reflects her continued work helping clients anticipate and respond to evolving sustainability requirements and supporting the drive towards net-zero emissions across the built environment.

Commenting on the recognition, Maria said: "I am delighted to be recognised as a Green Ambassador once again. This recognition reflects not only the work of our sector teams, but also TLT's wider commitment to helping clients navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by the transition to a more sustainable economy.

"The past year has seen continued momentum across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with our teams supporting clients on some of the most significant projects shaping the UK's future energy landscape. Sustainability remains central to our strategy, and we are proud to work alongside businesses that are driving meaningful change."

Alexandra Holsgrove Jones added: "It's a privilege to be recognised as a Green Ambassador for a second consecutive year. Sustainability has moved from being a standalone consideration to a core business priority, and we are seeing organisations across all sectors seek practical, commercially focused advice on how to meet their ESG ambitions.

"This recognition reflects the collaborative approach we take at TLT to embedding ESG considerations across our legal services, supporting clients as they respond to changing regulation, evolving stakeholder expectations and the transition to a lower-carbon future."
