Senior Associate

Charlotte Farnsworth is a debt finance lawyer, who joined TLT as a Senior Associate in January 2025.
She has experience in a broad mix of finance transactions including investment and development real estate finance, leveraged finance (including sponsor backed), and general corporate lending, acting for a range of clients - from national and multinational corporate borrowers in industries such as sports, healthcare, commercial property and manufacturing, to major high street bank lenders, non-bank lenders and private equity firms.

- Advising a global manufacturer in connection with new syndicated debt facilities to support export growth.
- Advising on the initial financing and subsequent amendment and restatement of a term loan for a borrower in the sports industry (prompted by a sale of the business).
- Advising a UK private equity investor on its debt finance facilities in connection with the acquisition of a leading energy services business.
- Advising on the complex release and redemption exercise connected to the exit of a private equity investor from its investment in a pharmaceuticals business.
