Johanne specialises in mortgage litigation and has over a decade of experience acting for major lenders in relation to a broad spectrum of both commercial and retail disputes.
Johanne advises lenders on a wide range of matters which include:
- Undue influence / duress
- Mis-selling
- Fraud
- Breach of mandate
She advises on all aspects of the litigation process, including alternative dispute resolution, as well as acting for lenders in relation to enforcement, often in reputationally sensitive circumstances. Johanne also regularly supports lenders with the sale or disposal of properties with complex issues or title defects.
Johanne has specific expertise advising lenders in relation to vulnerable customers and is highly regarded for her pragmatic and sensitive approach.
