TLT celebrates eight partner promotions in 2026

National law firm TLT has promoted eight lawyers to partner, including one in Business Services. Promotions will be effective from 1 April 2026.

The newly promoted partners are: Fiona Armour, Investment and Asset Management; Emma Davies, Contracts & Procurement; Katherine Doran, Projects Infrastructure and Construction; Emily Huish, Banking; Barbara Mayne, Investment and Asset Management; Lizzie Stone, Pensions & Tax; Josh Town, Public Inquiries, Inquests & Public Law; and Sarah Wheatley, General Counsel.

The new partners span TLT’s UK-wide locations and sectors, including Future Energy, Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Real Estate and Retail.

These promotions are in addition to 22 partner lateral hires in the last year, in Corporate, Financial Services, Future Energy, FutureLaw, Real Estate and Restructuring and Insolvency; spread across the firm’s national network in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Scotland. These include an eight-partner team alongside 21 associates, creating the largest legal practice dedicated to public law, infrastructure planning and future energy in the UK.

TLT also promoted two colleagues to Business Services Director, eight to Legal Director, 17 senior associates to Managing Associates and 39 associates to Senior Associates. 19 colleagues across the firm’s business and client services teams also celebrate promotion.

Senior Partner Andrew Lyon commented: "At TLT, our culture is founded on recognising potential and providing meaningful opportunities for growth. We encourage our people to be curious and collaborative in creating opportunity and delivering innovative solutions for our clients. These promotions recognise critical contributions to our clients and the wider business. Huge congratulations to all those promoted this year.”
