TLT trifecta as The Legal Business Awards 2026 shortlist announced
National law firm TLT has been shortlisted in a trio of categories at The Legal Business Awards 2026, in recognition of the firm’s sustained strategic growth and innovative approach to AI adoption.
The firm has been shortlisted for ‘UK Law Firm of the Year’, ‘AI Initiative of the Year’ and ‘Legal Technology Team of the Year’.
TLT achieved record breaking financial results in 2025, its 25th anniversary year, delivering revenue approaching £200 million. It invested significantly across sectors and locations, including the hire of eight partners in London as part of a 29 strong team creating the largest legal practice dedicated to public law, infrastructure planning and future energy in the UK, and new office space in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Birmingham to meet increasing demand. The firm also announced a transformative 93% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 (market-based) greenhouse gas emissions, surpassing its goal of 80% reduction by 2030 six years ahead of schedule.
Key to delivering on strategy has been TLT’s innovative approach to AI adoption, led by the market-leading FutureLaw team. Its distinctive GenAI transformation programme, Project Maui, whose name embeds its philosophy of putting U at the centre of AI, augments human capability. TLT was one of the first firms to partner with legal AI provider Legora for a firmwide roll-out, acted as an early design partner for the Legora Portal, and launched a new business ready AI solution, TLT Intelligence. The recent Innovation Map from The Lawyer described TLT’s approach as “refreshing and arguably sets it apart from other law firms”.
The winners will be announced on 29th September 2026.
TLT has also been shortlisted for ‘UK Firm of the Year’ at The Lawyer Awards 2026, with winners to be revealed on 16th June. The duo of nominations underscores the continued success of the firm through a period of transformational growth.
