Alastair has a range of experience advising on a variety of restructuring and insolvency matters.
His work is mainly focused on the specialist M&A, restructuring and turnaround business segment, with a particular specialism in property-based insolvency.
Alastair regularly receives instructions from a range of clearing bank clients and often taken leading roles on a range of signature cases both in the North West and further afield.
Experience
- Advising on the entry into administration and accelerated £10m disposal of the assets of Typhoo Tea;
- Acting on an urgent, ground breaking Paragraph 71 Application for administrators of YPG Fabric Residence Limited facilitating the highly challenged residential development;
- Advising on the administration of TGI Fridays, including lease assignment work;
- Advising on the administrator of a north-west house builder resulting in a property sale with planning permission for 80 houses.
