She has worked for both core participants in an inquiry and for an inquiry legal team. She works diligently alongside her clients to ensure accuracy, efficiency and delivery within deadlines and the successful management of risk.
Helen is an experienced solicitor who brought with her to PIIPL skills honed over 10 years working as a commercial litigator across a broad spectrum of disputes including acting for lenders in financial service disputes and remediation projects; and for companies, partnerships and individuals advising on contractual disputes, professional negligence, insolvency and trusts and estates disputes. This breadth of experience working with a diverse range of clients facing complex legal issues puts her in an excellent position to work with clients to navigate the intricacies of public inquiries.
Helen has in depth experience working with a statutory inquiry to prepare documents for use in public hearings including ensuring compliance with data protection law and advising on risk.

- Acting for a statutory public inquiry to prepare sensitive documents for use in public evidential hearings ensuring compliance with data protection law.
- Attending high profile public hearings to advise an inquiry client on risk arising from the giving of live evidence to ensure no breaches of data protection law.
- Managing a team completing a review of documents to identify any breaches of restriction orders under the Inquiries Act 2005 and completing work to ensure the safe progression of documents to public disclosure.
- Acting for a core participant in a statutory inquiry to assist with preparation of witness statements.
- Managing cases on behalf of a lender in financial product miss-selling litigation.
- Acting for a lender in a complex remediation project.
