TLT named supplier on Legal Panel for Government framework

National law firm TLT has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Legal Panel for Government framework (RM6360) on Lot 2 - Major Projects and Complex Advice.

The announcement follows confirmation last month that the firm has also been named on the following Lots:

Lot 1 - Core Legal Services

Lot 4a - Trade and Investment Negotiations

Lot 4b - International Trade Disputes.

Through these four Lots, the firm will continue to provide a wide range of commercial legal services to central government departments, executive agencies and associated Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs) involved in major infrastructure, complex legal projects, or high-risk initiatives. TLT’s advice will span contract negotiation, dispute resolution, trade, regulatory and governance advice; including to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships (PPPs). In addition, the firm will advise on procurement, legislative drafting and policy development; and constitutional matters.

Bill Hull, partner and Head of Government & Public Services, said: “Our breadth of practice, deep sector expertise and national reach position us ideally to advise on the complex, high value and large-scale projects that have the potential to be transformative for government, and the country. We have been working in partnership with central government on core legal panels since their inception in 2017 and being named on four Lots across the Panel, Lot 2 among them, is recognition that our proposition and embedded focus on collaboration and innovation are well received by clients, creating strong and lasting partnerships that generate opportunity from what comes next.”

TLT is home to the UK’s largest infrastructure planning and future energy practice, following a period of strategic growth this year. The firm has also been shortlisted, jointly with GLD’s Commercial Law Group – Home Office Team, for Best Government and Public Sector Team of the Year at the upcoming British Legal Awards 2025; in addition to International Growth Leader in recognition of the outstanding growth of the firm’s international trade law practice.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2024/25, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £5.3 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
