Retail Agility: The Long Game
Counting the cost of the global supply chain crisis
According to our latest research among the UK's top 100 retailers, the vast majority (87%) do not believe things will go back to how they were before the global supply chain crisis began.
Despite the many widely-publicised issues with supply chains, two thirds (62%) of retailers also say consumers are demanding higher availability and quicker deliveries.
In this report - featuring a comment from John Foster, Director of CBI Policy Unit, and expert analysis from our lawyers - we take a closer look at the areas where retailers are being forced to adapt and where they are investing, including:
- Cost management
- Supplier management
- Transport and near-shoring
- Staffing, robotics and automation
- Warehousing and logistics
