Senior Associate

Katie joined TLT in March 2021 and is a Senior Associate in the Employment team.
Katie regularly advises employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters across a broad range of employment law matters. Katie also supports businesses including day-to-day HR support on issues such as disciplinary matters, long-term sickness absence, grievances and contracts/policies.
Katie has considerable experience of conducting Employment Tribunal litigation including complex claims providing commercial and pragmatic advice in a friendly and approachable manner. Katie understands the importance of being on board with the client’s needs and expectations. Katie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and regularly runs client training seminars.

Experience
- Handling Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of employers and employees from their conception at ACAS Early Conciliation to the final hearing.
- Advising a client on changes to terms and conditions of employment for all employees.
- Advising a client throughout a redundancy process including redundancy consultation meetings.
- Advising on employment issues involved with share purchases, as well as the TUPE issues in asset purchases.
