Emily runs complex employment tribunal claims, primarily assisting respondent clients in defending claims including allegations of unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, victimisation, harassment and whistleblowing. Emily advises across all stages of the employment relationship, from day-to-day HR matters to discrimination and redundancy. She also drafts and advises on key documents including settlement agreements, employee handbooks and policies, as well as advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions. Emily has experience delivering bespoke training to HR professionals on key employment issues and updates.
Emily qualified in 2024 and has completed a six-month secondment to Sainsbury’s in-house employment team. Emily has also held key positions within the firm's charity committee and actively engages in volunteering initiatives. Emily is a member of the firm’s Women’s Equality Network.

- Defending Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of government bodies - Emily recently successfully defended a high profile age discrimination claim which the Employment Tribunal dismissed in its entirety.
- Emily also recently settled a high risk claim on behalf of an employer client without any financial obligations.
- Drafting and advising on service agreements and settlement agreements for senior personnel as part of a large corporate transaction.
- Delivering bespoke training to HR professionals in respect of legislative updates.
