Damian has an extensive experience of working on full spectrum of complex competition law matters, with particular focus on merger and market inquires, cartels, vertical agreements, and abuses of dominance. He also supports clients on matters relating to the National Security and Investment Act reviews and subsidy control.
Prior to joining TLT, Damian worked as a Principal Case Officer at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (the CMA) and in the past, he also worked for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition. These experiences make him particularly well placed to help clients to navigate competition law rules to avoid any potential pitfalls. He also offers a unique insight into the inner workings of the competition regulators to help clients to effectively respond to and engage with their investigations if necessary.
Damian advises clients across variety of sectors including digital markets, energy, financial services, and public sector.

Experience
- Advising the UK Home Office in relation to review of Motorola’s compliance with the CMA Mobile Radio Network Market Investigation Order and the upcoming review of the effectiveness of that Order.
- Assisting clients in various sectors with preparing responses to the CMA’s requests for information
- Key case handler on the CMA merger inquiries and competition law infringement investigations in the transport, digital, pharmaceutical and energy sectors.
