• Working as part of a tax policy and regulatory team engaging directly with HMRC on a number of legislative and tax policy changes, looking to help shape HMRC's thinking and feeding back market and technical concerns to influence policy development.
• Managing complex tax matters where historic advice from large advisory firms required reassessment, leading on the technical analysis to identify issues, reassess positions and support clients in determining a robust way forward.
• Advising on highly complex corporate tax matters, including technically challenging transactions and reorganisations where the legislation is unclear, guidance is limited or market practice inconsistent.
