Roger Potgieter

Roger acts primarily for banks, leasing companies and motor finance lenders on a wide range of issues including:

• Fraud prevention, investigation and recovery
• Title disputes (including “innocent purchaser” investigations)
• Claims for conversion and wrongful interference
• Injunctive relief (including immediate delivery-up orders)
• Vehicle stocking finance disputes
• Misrepresentation claims
• Satisfactory quality claims
• Contentious and / or complex recoveries
• Technical CCA disputes (including claims made against lenders under sections 75 and / or 140A of the CCA)
• FOS complaints

Before qualifying, Roger spent 3 years working for a captive motor finance business. He is therefore able to combine the benefit of in-house experience with his legal training to offer clients a commercially-focused service, specialising in all aspects of motor, asset and consumer finance.

Roger is actively involved in industry trade bodies including the FLA and the BVRLA.
