Legal Director
Laura’s practice covers both financial services litigation and acting for fixed charge receivers.
Laura acts for a variety of fixed charge receivers and is recognised for her expertise in advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Laura regularly advises receivers on the validity of their appointments, their powers and duties and acts on their behalf in connection with a variety of issues that arise during the course of their appointments.
She has significant experience in financial services dealing with both retail and commercial lending.
She is experienced in advising clients on claims relating to breach of mandate, undue influence and misrepresentation. Laura has built strong relationships with leading high street banks and as such clients trust her to advise on reputational and sensitive issues.
Laura has undertaken a secondment within the legal team of a high street bank and has also undertaken a six month secondment within a retail bank.
Laura joined TLT in 2011 and trained with the firm, becoming an Associate in 2017 and Legal Director in 2021.
