James is the leader of TLT’s national Restructuring and Insolvency team and has over 25 years’ experience in this discipline.
He advises corporates, lenders, regulators, insolvency professionals, debtors and other stakeholders on resolving issues arising out of financial distress.
James has particular experience in the financial services and public sectors, combining strong technical knowledge with commercial thinking and a pragmatic solutions-driven approach. He also acts for a wide range of clients in the fields of complex personal insolvency and international asset recovery.
James is independently recognised as an expert by Chambers UK and as a leading lawyer by the Legal 500, both in the field of Restructuring/Insolvency.
