
Nine TLT lawyers featured in Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyers 2026 list
Nine lawyers from across TLT have been recognised as Stand-out Lawyers in this year’s list, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to being a top tier adviser to clients through combining transactional and regulatory expertise with curiosity and creativity to deliver innovative, business-ready solutions that help clients unlock growth opportunities and navigate risk with confidence.
Each year, Thomson Reuters invite more than 2,000 senior legal buyers worldwide to identify up to three lawyers who have distinguished themselves over the past 12 months. This year’s independent, client-endorsed ranking includes:
- Amanda Hulme, Partner and head of TLT’s financial regulation team. She is a leading specialist in retail financial services, consumer finance and payments.
- Andrew Lyon, Partner and head of TLT’s Financial Services sector team. He is a specialist in complex financial services disputes as well as being responsible for delivery of TLT’s financial services sector strategy. He has recently begun his term as TLT Senior Partner.
- Mark McQuillan, Partner in TLT’s employment team, with a focus on advising employer clients on a wide range of strategic, complex and sensitive employment law issues.

- Richard Collie, Partner in TLT’s Competition, Regulatory and Trade team specialising in consumer, competition and digital markets with a particular focus on the digital and retail sector;
- Roger Potgieter, Partner in TLT’s Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team acting primarily for banks, leasing companies and motor finance lenders on a wide range of issues;
- Sam McCollum, Partner in TLT’s Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team specialising in consumer credit, financial product mis-selling, professional negligence, fraud, payments services, data privacy disputes, motor finance and consumer finance.
