Matthew specialises in real estate litigation, working with retailers, leisure operators, developers, investors, utility and telecoms companies.
He advises on a full range of property-related disputes and management issues, with particular expertise in dilapidations, lease renewal proceedings, business rates, tenant default/insolvency, service charges, break options, adverse possession, rights to light and telecommunications issues.
Matthew is a member of the Property Litigation Association and Compulsory Purchase Association. He has regularly provided seminars/training for clients and on behalf of RICS. He qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined TLT in 2015.
