TLT further expands UK-wide litigation team
The news follows several high profile appointments into the team in 2020, including a twelve-strong financial services disputes and investigations team from Dentons in London.
Peter specialises in banking litigation, insolvency, commercial litigation and debt recovery and has significant experience acting for insolvency practitioners and financial services clients, including banks. He has a varied practice, also acting for, amongst others, energy companies, suppliers to the construction industry and statutory bodies.
A Solicitor Advocate, having obtained extended rights of audience in the supreme courts (Court of Session and Supreme Court) in 2019, he has extensive advocacy experience and litigates regularly in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session.
John Paul Sheridan, partner and head of Scotland at TLT, says: “I’m really pleased to welcome Peter to the team. We are seeing increasing demand for these services as clients face the consequences of a global pandemic and Peter will help to ensure that we can continue to meet their needs.”
Peter McGladrigan, legal director at TLT, says: “I’m delighted to be joining TLT at a time of growth and expansion for the firm, both within the Scottish market and nationally.
“TLT is an outstanding firm with an excellent reputation, especially in the litigation sphere. I look forward to working with John Paul and the team to grow the business and deliver high quality service to the firm’s existing and prospective clients.”
