Caroline McEvoy

Caroline acts for a number of leading financial institutions on both lending and recoveries matters.

She acts in the acquisition and disposal of large-scale retail, office, industrial and residential premises, both freehold and leasehold. 

Caroline deals with all aspects of non-contentious landlord and tenant law providing strategic advice on commercial leases to landlords / owners and tenants as well as other portfolio management issues and She also undertakes due diligence delivering a wide range of large-scale acquisition and financing projects.

• Advising institutional lenders on secured lending instructions across residential, retail and leisure and development premises.

• Advising a pension fund (valued at over £380m) in relation to their UK wide office and retail portfolio.

• Advising a global investment group with capabilities in real estate asset management dealing with retail (including food and restaurants) and industrial portfolios.

• Advising a leading global asset manager investing in the real estate sector across retail, leisure and industrial estates. 

• Leading the team responsible for delivery of occupational leases and associated agreement for leases (including development agreement for leases) and supplemental property documentation and inter related construction documentation.

• Acting for a prime bank affiliate acquiring and financing newly constructed residential apartments

• Acting for a large private equity house in the acquisition and subsequent refinance of large scale light industrial portfolio.

• Acting for a financial group acquiring future living units across new developments.
