Senior Associate

Robin is a senior associate in the Employment team and advises on a wide range of employment law matters.
Robin frequently represents clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings across a range of claims, including: breach of contract, unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. This has included Robin conducting his own advocacy at preliminary and final hearings. Robin has also represented clients in Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings.
Robin also advises on a wide range of non-contentious employment matters such as corporate transactions, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancy exercises and employment contracts/policies.
Experience
- Successfully represented a multinational company at a preliminary hearing at which all claims against the company were struck out by the Employment Tribunal.
- Defending complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims in the Employment Tribunal and helping the company to reach confidential settlements on a commercial basis.
- Dealing with the employment aspects of a multimillion-pound corporate transaction on behalf of the sellers.
- Provided regular HR support to large organisations which included preparing employment contracts and policies/procedures, advising on disciplinary and grievance matters and advising on a restructuring exercise.
