Amy has experience defending Employment Tribunal claims involving unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She also advises employers on a broad range of day-to-day employment and HR matters, including absence management, grievances, disciplinary processes, protected conversations and dismissals. Amy’s advisory work also includes drafting and advising on settlement agreements, staff handbooks and employment policies.
Amy qualified as a solicitor in September 2024, having previously worked as a paralegal in employment law for over a year. During her training contract, she completed two seats in Employment and a seat in Corporate, giving her an understanding of the wider commercial context in which employment issues arise.
Amy is also a member of TLT’s Social Mobility Network.
