Humna specialises in a range of contentious Intellectual Property matters (including trade mark, design right, copyright and passing off), breach of Confidential Information as well as matters involving Reputation Management.
Her background includes advising clients from fashion and design backgrounds, national food and leisure brands, entrepreneurs, established tech companies and start-ups as well as celebrity clients.
She has worked on complex High Court matters, as well as matters issued in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, trade mark related issues in the UK IPO and matters concerning domain name infringement on Nominet and the UDRP.

Experience
- Humna has also worked closely with a national financial tech company advising it in respect of businesses which were making false claims of being affiliated with the company and were making unauthorised use of the client’s marks.
- Recent experience involves working with national brewery and dealing with the defamatory comments made by ex-employees. Steps included liaising with PR agencies and holding a crisis management meeting.
- She has also recently advised in an international gaming company in respect of instances of trade mark infringement and passing off.
