She is one of few lawyers in the UK to specialise in onshore and offshore wind projects, hydrogen, and co-located battery and solar schemes. She is also dual qualified in England and Wales, and Scotland.
Nadia has advised on a number of DCOs from land right strategies, plot by plot reviews, surveys (including use of Section 172 rights), heads of terms negotiations, and land agreements dealing with exclusivity, option for leases and/or easements and bespoke land rights interface agreements.
Nadia also acts for DNOs and IDNOs providing grid solutions to numerous projects across the UK.
She has experience in ensuring that projects are suitable for financing and has advised from a real estate perspective on energy M&A transactions.
Nadia has worked on some of the UK’s most significant energy projects contributing to the UK’s net-zero efforts.

Nadia has recently acted for:
- Low Carbon on securing £1.1 billion investment from CVC DIF, existing shareholder MassMutual and debt facilities, advising on the real estate aspects.
- SSE in respect of its proposed DCO for Keadby Next Generation Power Station (being a hydrogen-ready gas fired power station) in respect of securing all necessary land rights.
- Developers in respect of their proposed onshore wind and solar DCOs, advising on land rights strategies, surveys, plot reviews, use of Section 172 rights and land agreements.
