She regularly advises on IT and Data Privacy matters, particularly in the Digital, Leisure Food & Drink and Government sectors. She is CIPP/E qualified.

Nicola regularly advises clients on complex outsourcing arrangements, including strategic IT projects. She also advises on the privacy aspects of major business change initiatives, contract remediation projects, information security breaches and the full range of data privacy compliance requirements.

Nicola has experience working in-house as legal counsel at the British Council where she advised a range of stakeholders globally and on an 18-month secondment to a multinational facilities management company.

• Advised one of the world’s leading fast food restaurants on the privacy implications of the roll out of new software for its internal communications across the UK.
• Advised on a project to contract a large number of technology partners to a Fintech client’s platform solution, covering a broad range of IT services including cloud computing, CRM systems, cryptographic security, identity verification, payments, data insight and analysis.
• Advised a multinational technology business on an agreement to supply hardware and software to a UK public body.
