As our Company Secretarial Lead, Rachel brings extensive expertise in governance, compliance and corporate administration.

She is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of our company secretarial offering, leading a dedicated team that takes a proactive approach to anticipating clients' needs and delivering consistent, high-quality support. Rachel ensures that each client receives tailored advice and practical solutions across all aspects of company secretarial practice, including the incorporation and dissolution of companies and LLPs in the UK, filing and register compliance, constitutional documents, articles of association and general company law advisory.

Complimenting her company secretarial expertise, Rachel is an experienced corporate lawyer, specialising in corporate transactions including M&A and reorganisations, with particular experience in the leisure, food & drink and retail & consumer goods sectors, and has also worked on a number of private equity and venture capital transactions.

Notable transactions include advising on the international acquisition of Bristol Uniforms by MSA Safety for US$64m (winner of Deal of the Year at the Insider South West Dealmaker Awards), the sale of Rainmakers CSI Ltd to STRAT7 for an undisclosed amount and advising Westcoast Properties on its high-value management buyout.

Rachel undertook a secondment to Pets at Home, advising and supporting them with legal documentation in connection with the completion of various joint ventures and acquisitions, gaining valuable commercial insight.

Rachel is also an ED&I champion — she has been awarded “Diversity Champion” by Bristol City Council, supported the establishment of TLT’s Ethnic Diversity Network and is Co-chair of the Ethnic Diversity Network.
