TLT amongst finalists at Legal 500 ESG Awards 2025
Now in their second edition, the awards celebrate exceptional contributions to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives within the legal sector.
TLT was recognised in this category for the role it played in advising Intelligent Land Investments Group PLC on the completion of the sale of two landmark future energy projects. These included the sale of the Red John Pumped Storage Hydro scheme located on the banks of Loch Ness to Statkraft, and the sale of its 50 MW battery storage project Balnacraig, Alness, Highlands to EDP Renewables.
The Red John Pumped Storage Hydro Project will be one of the first new PSH schemes to be built in the UK in over 40 years and is expected to save over 45 million tonnes of C02 in its lifetime.
The milestone projects will not only make a huge economic contribution to the area, but they will also play a significant part in unlocking the UK’s renewable energy potential.
The winners will be announced at an award ceremony taking place on 25 March in London.
