Laura advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.
She drafts and advises on key documents such as employment contracts, settlement agreements, employee handbooks and policies. Laura also runs Employment Tribunal claims, assisting respondents in defending claims such as those involving unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and victimisation.
Laura qualified in 2020.

Experience
- Defending Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of government bodies. Most recently Laura defended a 5 day unfair dismissal and disability discrimination claim which the Employment Tribunal dismissed in its entirety.
- Delivering bespoke training to HR professionals in respect of returning to work post COVID-19 and providing advice in relation to flexible working requests.
- Advising an employer in relation to disciplinary procedures and the risks around constructive dismissals.
