Managing Associate

Susannah is a managing associate in the real estate team specialising in affordable housing development work.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2017. Susannah acts for numerous national and South West based registered providers in respect of development agreements, conditional contracts, golden brick arrangements, landlord and tenant work, nominations agreements, disposals and site set-ups. Susannah is involved from site acquisition through to plot sales to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
Susannah also has experience dealing with certificates of title and charging matters for both registered providers and lenders.

Experience
- Acting for a national registered provider on the acquisition of over 300 plots across three phases from a national house builder.
- Acting for a registered provider on the acquisition of land for development involving complex title investigation and negotiation of an overage deed
- Acting on the acquisition of a site via a land and build contract with a heat network and providing advice with regards to marketing information and restrictive covenants in respect of the heat supply on the client’s subsequent plot sales
- Negotiating a series of leases for a registered provider with the local council for properties to be used for supported living
