Our Summer round-up highlights some recent complaints which have come before the Pensions Ombudsman and Financial Ombudsman Service, and reminds you of some key developments for SIPPs and SSASs (including forthcoming TLT events).

With complaints about SIPPs and SSASs on the rise, we focus here on a pair of determinations in relation to investment advice, of which there have been a flurry in relation to SIPPs and we are seeing more in relation to SSASs, and a pair of death benefit cases, which continue to be tricky for trustees.
