Vicky regularly advises clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, including strategically important and complex breach of contract and professional negligence claims.
Vicky acts for clients in court proceedings at every level including in the Supreme Court. She was part of the team advising the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime in relation to its successful appeal to the Supreme Court (The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime v Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co (Europe) Ltd and others [2016] UKSC 18). Vicky also has considerable experience of obtaining urgent injunctive relief for clients.
As well as handling substantial litigation, Vicky acts for clients in arbitration proceedings and regularly represents her clients in mediation where she has an excellent track record of settling disputes.
Vicky has a particular interest in pensions litigation and regularly advises trustees and large employers in complex pensions matters including professional negligence, construction and rectification. Vicky acted for the Trustees of the Wandel & Goltermann Retirement Benefit Scheme in the High Court and the Court of Appeal in Shannan and others v Viavi Solutions UK Limited [2018] EWCA Civ 681.
Clients commend Vicky for being responsive, diligent and highly organised, as well as technically able and commercially very astute.
