Search orders are one of the most formidable weapons in a claimant's arsenal. The power to enter someone's home or a company's business premises to preserve evidence or to recover property will be granted by the Courts only where necessary to ensure justice is done.

Our litigators have a wealth of experience supervising the execution of search orders, including multi-site searches, and providing mixed teams of male and female supervising solicitors and assistants where appropriate.

We will remain independent and are experienced in dealing with search orders and the complex legal and technical issues which often arise on the day. We will always do our best to accommodate timescales and are flexible, accepting instructions on short notice if necessary.

Experience

• Assisting a manufacturer with the defence to a claim by a US competitor for breach of IP and theft of trade secrets against, advising on enforcement rights and supervising the taking of depositions by US counsel in London.
• Advising Land Mark Mortgages on possession proceedings which also required rectification of a defective standard security.
• Advising a private client in successful judicial review proceedings which commenced after a raid on the client's premises by the Serious Organised Crime Agency. Seized documents and other property were returned, and all the applicants' costs were recovered.
