Amy Hardy

Amy has almost 10 years’ worth of experience working on a range of property transactions for public and private sector clients (including central government, various local authorities and combined authorities). Amy has a particular focus on assisting clients with the delivery of residential and mixed-use developments.

Amy proactively drives forward transactions, often dealing with complicated acquisitions and disposals (usually conditional on planning) and all other aspects affecting a development, including: complex title due diligence, supplemental agreements/variations, grant funding agreements, occupational interests, clawback and overage, imposing/releasing security and utilities’ agreements.  

Experience

  • Homes England – disposal of multi-phase scheme at Tattenhoe Park, Milton Keynes to various developers (for both residential and commercial purposes) by way of agreements for lease/building leases and conditional sale agreements and advising on all ongoing aspects of the wider scheme (including: utilities, affordable housing providers requirements, occupational interests, drainage strategy and supplemental agreement). 
  • Homes England – acquisition of land for residential use in Attleborough, Norfolk from three separate landowners and a land promoter and providing ongoing support in respect of onward disposal to a developer/group of developers (including: acquisition of third-party land to unlock planning conditions, dealing with a supplemental agreement and providing advice in respect of existing easements and their impact on the proposed development). 
  • Homes England – disposal of land at Spencer’s Park, Hemel Hempstead to a national housebuilder, by way of an agreement for lease, to be drawn down in two phases and ongoing support (including: utility agreements, PRS involvement, compound licences/leases and supplemental agreement to the agreement for lease).
