Jack is an Associate specialising in Employment Law.
Jack works with clients across the private and public sectors on a range of day-to-day employment law issues.
Jack has expertise and experience defending various Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of employers (including unfair dismissals, discrimination claims, whistleblowing detriment claims and claims for contractual payments) alongside employment-related support with transactional work, restructures, redundancies, insolvencies and TUPE queries.
Jack enjoys working closely with clients to find creative and commercial solutions to their issues, operating within legal and organisational parameters.
Jack is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Experience
- Jack has strong experience acting for and advising employers across the retail, technology and public sectors. In particular, Jack regularly acts for employers in the defence of complex litigation usually involving discrimination and/or whistleblowing allegations and multi-day hearings.
- Successfully defending a complex Employment Tribunal claim brought by a serving Police Officer against a large Police Force regarding the application of organisational policies on hybrid working.
- Acted for a large international technology company in the defence of cross-border Employment Tribunal litigation, achieving the early withdrawal of the proceedings by utilising strong jurisdictional arguments.
- Acted for insolvency practitioners relating to the insolvent sale of a UK-based technology business, building sufficient protections into sale documents relating to non-standard pre-sale employment terminations.
