Wind

From advising on some of the UK’s first onshore wind projects to supporting on some of the first wind plus energy storage projects and pathfinder behind-the-meter wind turbine installations with commercial off-takers, asset life extension projects and "multi-technology energy hubs" which look to maximise land use and grid connection, we have experience of acting throughout the project lifecycle of onshore wind assets.
Our specialist team acts for organisations involved throughout the lifecycle of a wind farm project, including developers, banks, investors and landowners. We have particular expertise advising on the acquisition / disposal of onshore wind projects from single turbine sites to the UK’s largest wind farms and on the £multi-million debt funding and refinancing for single turbine and on-shore wind portfolios.
We provide end-to-end advice in relation to project structuring, finance, commercial, construction, corporate, regulatory, environmental, health and safety, planning and property issues. Plus we have extensive experience in helping to resolve the complex disputes that can sometimes arise with wind energy schemes.
In addition, our team has advised on some on the most high-profile offshore wind projects in the UK, Europe and globally.
