He has been involved with hundreds of renewable energy projects (including wind, solar PV, hydro, biomass CHP and heat pumps), projects relating to energy efficiency measures, battery storage projects and EV charging infrastructure projects. Clients he has acted for include project developers, funders, retail energy suppliers, energy consumers (including large corporates) and government bodies. Matters on which he has advised include those relating to power purchase/energy supply and other route to market agreements (including dozens of private wire and other corporate PPA arrangements), grid connection agreements (including grid sharing arrangements), government support schemes (including the FiT, ROC, RHI, Capacity Market and CfD schemes), industry rules (including rules relating to supply licence exemptions), concession arrangements (including for EV charging infrastructure and microgrids) and grant funding arrangements.
