Catherine helps clients manage complex employment tribunal litigation and has considerable experience dealing with discrimination claims. Catherine advises clients on a range of employment matters, from employee relations issues (such employee exits, disciplinaries and capability issues) to redundancies, restructures, TUPE transfers, employment status and pay. Catherine also provides employment advice in respect of clients' corporate and property transactions.
Catherine has worked both in private practice and in-house, the combined experience contributing to a pragmatic and client-centric approach.
Catherine is a Pastoral Committee Member of the Employment Lawyers Association and a charity trustee.

Experience
- Handling the client's defence to a multi-claim case brought by a litigant in person, including unfair dismissal, harassment, victimisation and disability, sex and race discrimination claims.
- Advising a client in respect of a service provision change TUPE transfer involving hundreds of incoming employees.
- Assisting a public sector client in successfully defending against whistleblowing, disability and age discrimination claims.
