Managing Associate

Dave is a managing associate in the employment team who advises a broad range of employers on all aspects of UK employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.
Dave has particular experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, having acted for employers defending complex claims including matters involving whistleblowing and discrimination. Dave also regularly provides advice to employers on a range of issues including disciplinary matters, grievances, long term sickness cases, redundancy exercises and TUPE transfers. Dave regularly designs and delivers training for clients on a diverse range of employment law issues.
Dave qualified in 2013, and his supervisor at TLT is Stuart McBride.

Experience
- Managing complex discrimination Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of multiple respondents.
- Successfully defending a three-day race / sex / Agency Workers Regulations claim for a FTSE listed company.
- Advising in relation to complex and politically sensitive grievance allegations.
- Managing TUPE / redundancy projects (100+ employees) including negotiating new short-term service provision contracts, providing strategic advice on risk / tactics.
