Lizzie Stone

Lizzie advises on pensions liability management exercises, including the closure and winding up of pension schemes and buy-outs and buy-ins. She also advises both employers and trustees on key governance issues.  

For incentives, she advises both listed and private companies on a wide variety of employee share plans with a particular focus on Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) schemes, Employee Shareholder Status and HMRC-approved, all-employee share plans. 

She provides general advice to companies on employee tax and the taxation of severance payments. Lizzie also advises on IR35 and the agency workers tax legislation. Lizzie trained at TLT and became an Associate in 2016. She is ranked in Chambers as an ‘Associate to Watch’ and as a ‘Leading Associate’ by The Legal 500.
