He specialises in IP, technology and media disputes. His clients include software owners, media businesses, retailers, brand owners, universities and technology companies. His work often involves international aspects and he has a strong network of contacts with lawyers in other countries.
He has experience of all types of commercial litigation, including seeking and defending injunctions; international arbitration, proceedings before the UK Intellectual Property Office and WIPO, litigation, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Nick also advises on contractual and commercial issues arising in IP, technology and media agreements. He regularly advises on the protection and exploitation of IP rights in collaborative arrangements, structuring of licensing arrangements and issues arising on termination. Nick also advises businesses on the best way of managing portfolios of IP assets.
Nick joined TLT in 2012. Prior to this he was a partner at Shoosmiths.
