Sophie advises on a wide range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
She is currently running a wide range of Employment Tribunal litigation for a variety of clients, including complex claims such as whistleblowing, unfair dismissal and discrimination. She also regularly advises on a full range of non-contentious employment law matters such as settlement agreements, service agreements, employment contracts, sickness absence, policies and other day-to-day employment queries. Sophie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Experience
- Regularly advising clients in regard to a full spectrum of HR employment issues including absence and performance management, discipline and grievances and other day-to-day queries.
- Advising a public sector client in regard to a multi-day hearing for complex whistleblowing (where the Claimant relied upon approx. 7 alleged disclosures and 11 alleged detriments) and discrimination claims brought by a former employee. This included successfully defending a specific disclosure application at a preliminary hearing.
- Advising a public sector client in regard to multiple claims brought by one Claimant including advice and preparation in relation to a prospective Civil Restraint Order application.
