Review of Premises Licences and Enforcement

We act for licence holders facing a review of their licence. These reviews enable parties such as the local authorities, police and local residents to seek redress against a licence holder where they believe the licensing objectives have been undermined.
From major music festivals to independent shops and bars, we have acted for all types of operator facing a review of their premises licence.
We offer tactical and practical advice in how best to deal with review proceedings, from receipt of the papers through to hearing. We have a great deal of experience at negotiating with parties bringing reviews to ensure the best outcome for the licence holder.
In the last five years we have conducted over 200 reviews. We understand that licence holders need to continue to operate with the local authority and the licensing officers after the review proceedings have concluded. Whilst we provide robust advice and advocacy, we do not let the underlying relationship suffer. We've acted for music festivals, pubs, bars and entertainment venues in relation to reviews of their premises licences.
