Dominic’s practice spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, from day-to-day HR advice to representation in complex litigation. He regularly provides advice to employers on a range of issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, long term sickness cases, redundancy exercises and TUPE transfers. He frequently delivers bespoke training for clients on a wide range of employment law issues.
Dominic regularly advises clients in the retail, energy, and transport sectors, providing practical advice as well as commercial solutions and is adept at managing industrial and employment relations matters.

Dominic has particular expertise advising police forces on employment and workforce matters. He acts for a number of forces and has completed a secondment with one, gaining valuable insight into the policing environment. He has strong knowledge of the application of Police Regulations to serving officers and frequently advises on complex employment tribunal claims involving officers.

- Acting for several police forces in complex Employment Tribunal litigation including successfully defending claims whistleblowing, race discrimination and victimisation for one police force and successfully defending a subsequent EAT appeal in the same case.
- Successfully defended an interim relief application brought on whistleblowing grounds, acting for a national retail client and securing the dismissal of the application.
- Successfully defended a high value and multi-week Employment Tribunal claim on behalf of a police force, involving multiple complex belief discrimination allegations.
- Regularly advising on Employment Appeal Tribunal matters.
