Family Offices
Family offices, managing and supporting families with significant wealth require bespoke and varied legal advice. At TLT, we assist many such family offices, drawing on the expertise of colleagues across many teams. This often includes succession planning advice, tax planning, generational wealth transfer, dispute resolution, employment issues, reputation management and privacy protection, financial affairs and crisis management, real estate and investments.
From a family law and wealth protection aspect we regularly assist family offices in advising and drafting pre nuptial agreements, safeguarding intergenerational wealth, personal family issues such as divorce and financial settlements, children disputes and issues involving domestic abuse. In addition to our in-house expertise, we can also co-ordinate and make introductions to other professionals where appropriate, to meet the family office needs – essentially a concierge service.
