Louise Welsh

Louise has experience acting for a range of private, public and quasi-public sector clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions including: acquisitions and disposals of investment properties; acting on behalf of borrowers and funders in real estate finance transactions; acting on behalf of landlords and tenants in commercial leasing and lease management matters; and advising in relation to complex title examinations and portfolio management.

Louise also has experience acting as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing real estate advice in connection with cross-border corporate acquisitions, disposals and funding transactions.

Recent experience

• Acting for a property investor in the multi-million pound acquisition of an office development within an out of town business park.

   

• Acting for a property investor in the multi-million pound acquisition and site assembly of an out of town retail park near Glasgow, its subsequent funding and disposal.

   

• Acting for Scottish government agencies in connection with a variety of real estate matters including the acquisition of a head office lease in Glasgow City Centre.

   

• Acting for a US funder in agreeing security documentation for provision of development funding for a build to rent neighbourhood in Glasgow.

   

• Acting for an international bank in agreeing security documents for approximately £8m acquisition funding for an office development outside Glasgow.
