We act for a broad range of debt funders and has positions on the general lending panels of nearly all of the high street lenders.

In addition, we act for a wide spectrum of corporate borrowers in all of our key sectors in the investment and non investment grade spaces.

Many of our key practitioners in this area have trained at and have considerable experience of working in magic and silver circle law firms and US law firms. Our sector expertise means we can really understand our clients' businesses and motivators.

• Acting for WHSmith on their £240million committed acquisition facilities for the acquisition of the US airport chain InMotion from a private equity vendor. Also advising WHSmith on their committed syndicated revolving credit facilities of up to £93 million with a £90 million accordion. The facilities were provided equally by the group's four relationship banks.
• Advising a financial services group in relation to a £190 million conduit securitisation facility with a UK clearing bank and Gresham Receivables (No.23) Limited.
• Advising for the Dubai branch of a major Indian lender as agent, security trustee and lender in the US$82 million financing of land-based oil rigs located in Nigeria by a club of lenders in Hong Kong, India, the UAE and the UK.
• Advising a developer on its acquisition of a consented 20MW wind farm development and the subsequent £23 million project finance facility which funded its construction.
• Advising one of Europe's leading games developers on their software development facilities with HSBC UK Bank PLC, with a matter value of £20 million. The matter was unusual as software development is not typically an area that senior lenders will fund - the transaction was truly ground-breaking in that respect.
