Katrina Hennessy

She particularly specialises in complex Employment Tribunal litigation and has acted previously for both employers and employees.

In addition to her strong contentious practice, Katrina regularly advises employers on day to day employment queries, including disciplinaries, whistleblowing and TUPE. Katrina trained at an international law firm and actively participates in the Employment Lawyers Association as a junior committee member. She is an experienced litigator and has acted for clients in a variety of sectors including transport and infrastructure, retail and manufacturing.

• Managing complex discrimination Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of multiple respondents.

• Acting for a manufacturing client in the defence of equal pay, whistleblowing and discrimination claims.

• Regularly advising clients in regard to a full spectrum of HR employment issues including absence and performance management, discipline and grievances and other day-to-day queries.

• Regularly advising on Employment Appeal Tribunal matters.

• Delivering bespoke training and workshops for clients on employment law.

• Secondment to a large professional services firm.
